Three noxious weed grants awarded locally

The Montana Dept. of Agriculture announced last week that the Noxious Weed Management Advisory Council has awarded over $1.74 million in grants for the development and implementation of noxious weed management programs.
Lincoln County Weed District was awarded three noxious weed grants in the amounts of $27,000, $15,000, and $35,675. Two of the grants are to fund the Tansy Ragwort (left) Management Project, and the third is to fund the Rush Skeletonweed (right) Management Project.
Applications for 2019 Noxious Weed Trust Fund grants can be found at https://fundingmt.org in mid-July, for completion and submittal by January 6, 2019.
