On May 1, 2018, Sami Zucker presented Bud Priest with an appreciation quilt to honor him for his military service. Zucker presented Priest the quilt at a joint meeting of Troy’s VFW #5514 and Auxiliary in Troy, Montana. The quilt has a military theme to honor of Priest for his service to his country. Priest retired as a Sargent serving 7½ years with the 101st Airborne division. He says he was stationed in Alaska, Texas, Vietnam, Germany and “you name it, I was there.” Priest is currently the Commander of Troy’s VFW
