The Libby Youth Center is sponsoring a Viking ensemble for this summer’s Nordicfest parade. Focusing mainly on creating Viking swords, shields, helmets and chainmail armor, the group meets every Tuesday afternoon from 3 until 6 p.m. at the Youth Center. They hope to have enough enthusiastic participants to build a giant puppet for the parade as well. Donations of paper bags, faux fur, paint, plastic jewels and many other supplies are welcomed. For more information please contact the Libby Youth Center at 293-6686 or stop by at 1218 Utah Avenue.
