Monday, April 8

12:24 p.m. Someone called to report seeing a small, 17 pound, black and tan terrier walking along the highway. We’re guessing the caller previously worked for a circus guessing weights and ages. The dog was also estimated to be seven times older than it’s age in human years.

1:52 p.m. A creepy man was laying down on the creek bed near a resident’s home and watching her through the windows. She didn’t want to turn a blind eye or turn down the blinds, so she called authorities instead. The man assured responding officers that he was only having lunch and would soon be on his way.

Tuesday, April 9

9:07 a.m. A man called to ask for help loading a deer into the back of his vehicle. It was dead weight but he was dead set on getting it done.

Monday, April 15

11:56 a.m. Someone called to report two dogs chasing their children. It was a double dog scare.

7:59 p.m. A woman called to report an angry man who showed up at her house to complain about one of her employees. She was off the clock, and his complaint was off the wall.

Tuesday, April 16

7:05 a.m. A caller reported seeing a bunny that was hit by a car. No evidence of either colored eggs or baskets were reported at the scene.

10:58 a.m. A man called to report a frozen dead deer in his back yard that had been there since November. Given our warm December and even warmer weather now, the situation didn’t make a lot of sense but it sure made a lot of stench.

Wednesday, April 17

10:40 p.m. A caller reported a truck headed towards the hospital playing very loud music. It was too much sax and violins for the caller.
