April 29

9:01 a.m. A caller reported a white and brown dog walking down the road with her pup. Dispatch gets hounded by these doggone animal calls all the time.

12:26 p.m. A man called to advise police of some children who had recently been setting small fires on his property between 3 and 5 p.m. It was light afternoon entertainment but the caller was hot.

3:16 p.m. A man reported his entire roof having been torn from his home by the wind. Everyone else was happy about spring weather but he wasn’t a big fan and wanted it to blow over.

5:26 p.m. Two elderly men were in a fist fight outside of a Libby bar. Good thing 911 is full service, the caller didn’t know whether to call the cops or an ambulance.

5:38 p.m. A male called to report the theft of his cell phone by his younger brother. He felt disconnected and dispatch offered no reception.

April 30

12:25 p.m. A concerned caller reported two men standing on the street corner for over 45 minutes. It was such an odd sight to see.

8:36 p.m. An aggravated man called about his neighbor who he apparently had an ongoing problem with. The caller said his neighbor had been throwing rocks into his yard and he didn’t like it. The neighbor just thought he’d be happier if he got stoned.

May 1

2:33 p.m. A woman reported her neighbor’s child who had been letting her dogs out of the house when she wasn’t around. Dispatch suggested she renegotiate the terms of her leash.

5:18 p.m. Someone called to report having recently bought tires.  They wanted to make sure the tires weren’t originally stolen before they had purchased them. The caller seemed to have overinflated the issue.
