Friday, Sept. 6

6:50 a.m. A man reportedly investigating a dead deer on the roadside  was confronted by a large, napping mountain lion. It got him feline nervous.

4:44 p.m. A woman called reporting that she had lost a blindfold. Officers couldn’t see the problem.

Saturday, Sept. 7

4:59 p.m. An elderly man called to report juveniles ding dong ditching his house. He wanted to ring the kids’ bells.

Friday, Sept. 13

10:44 a.m. A caller reported several cats showing up on her property. She assumed someone must be dropping them off there and she didn’t like herding cats.

Saturday, Sept. 14

11:10 a.m. A female caller reported someone having stolen her ice cream.  The thief had a cold heart and mouth.

 

Sunday, Sept. 15

5:46 p.m. A caller requested to speak with an officer about her neighbor’s dog pushing her off a porch. She wanted to let sleeping dogs lie so refused to reveal her identity.
