Thursday, July 5


1:22 a.m. A caller reported two people suspiciously hanging out at a Libby pharmacy, officers responded to find them eating. They had not obtained prior authorization.


7:54 a.m. Someone on Spencer Road was still lighting fireworks, annoying the neighbors and scaring their dogs.


8:59 a.m. Dispatch received a call reporting a ferel-y bad cat problem on Swiftwater Lane.


10:52 a.m. Someone reported the loss of a black and pink stroller at the intersection of California and 2nd street. Luckily only the stroller was missing, the baby got back.



Friday, July 6


7:21 p.m. A woman called 911 to report she had barricaded herself in her bedroom and that she would hate to use firearms but her son is threatening her and coming to get her money.


11:56 p.m. An underage drinking party was reported on Klatawah St. Officers arrived to a chorus of booze. Everyone ran except one young girl who was totally Kahlua-less. She was caught and released to her father who probably went boozerk.



Saturday, July 7


1:36 a.m. Large, loud fireworks were being set off at a trailer park on the river’s edge.


6:20 a.m. A white pickup was pulled over with parking lights on and someone slumped over the wheel. Officers woke up the sleeping driver.


12:26 p.m. A well-meaning and dogmatic shopper reported a canine panting hard in a vehicle at the grocery store. Officers responded to retriever, but they found the window down and the dog in no distress. It’s owner was barking mad.


12:55 p.m. A Dome Mountain Rd. resident reported a theft from his fridge and freezer. It was a cold hearted crime, but luckily nothing else was taken. Maybe the thief got cold feet.



Sunday, July 8


2:22 p.m. A concerned employee reported a homeless person sleeping directly on asphalt and looking pretty red. He was not being shady, he just needed some sun block.


5:36 p.m. An elderly  man without shoes was walking around near 3rd Street. After some sole searching, he was returned to his residence.
