Tuesday, Dec. 12
7:32 p.m. A man from the Yaak reported his son stole the family vehicle to go see his girlfriend. He was caught at a restaurant in Troy.
Wednesday, Dec. 13
12:06 p.m. An unwanted female was banging on a man’s door on Nevada Ave.
3:04 p.m. Someone rid them-selves of various drug items in a dumpster outside of a shop on Hwy. 2, the business owner wanted people to keep off the grass and stop using her dumpster since it was not joint property. Drugs are a high priority so officers collected the paraphernalia.
5:49 p.m. Someone on Com-merce Way reported a child locked in a running vehicle. The responding officer of-fered to break the window but the offer was refused.
9:17 p.m. A woman on foot called requesting law en-forcement at a specific loca-tion. The officer arrived and reported that all was clear. It was just a misunderstanding about a dog having seizures.
Thursday, Dec. 14
12:40 p.m. Someone called 911 to report a purple haired female running through lanes of traffic near Libby High School.
Friday, Dec. 15
9:28 a.m. A man called to report losing his wife’s purse somewhere in the Libby area. All of her information was in it. He did not report whether he had told his wife yet.
5:00 p.m. Someone on Bull Lake Rd. reported realizing they were scammed after sending money to the Domin-ican Republic for a grandson.
Sunday, Dec. 17
2:39 a.m. Someone found drug paraphernalia behind one of the machines at a Lib-by casino.
2:25 p.m. A woman on City Service Rd. reported her ex-husband for changing her computer password daily. Was he a special character, or was he insecure? Maybe he did it because he needed capital. Hopefully he wasn’t about to expire. Based on the woman’s account, dispatch heard the case but it was a lower priority according to upper management.
5:03 p.m. Someone called 911 from a payphone (yes, they still exist) at a bar out-side of Troy. The person re-ported being assaulted by being tipped off a 4-wheeler which was stolen by two men that were still in the bar.
