Libby

A new day is dawning as local event opportunities arise

We have great Summer and Fall opportunities ahead for our Libby and Troy area. We have just begun to escape from the Covid-19 pandemic which put on hold most events here and all over Montana.

Now we have a great opportunity to get back on track and enjoy several great weekends with special events starting with the Wings Poker Run on Saturday June 27th.

Followed by eight more exciting weekends of special events.

July 4th -Liberty on Parade and Spectacular Fireworks

July 17th & 18th-Highland Games

July 18th – Cabinet View Playing for Fundsies Hospital Golf Tournament & Fund Raiser

July 24th & 25th –PRCA Rodeo

July 31st & August 1st & 2nd – Hot August Showdown (RC Racers)

August 13th,14th & 15th – Ignite the Nites 2020 Car Show

September 10th, 11th, 12th & 13th  – International Kootenai Country Montana Chainsaw Carving

September 12th  -Kootenai Harvest Festival

Due to cancellation of most other Montana events or those not starting until Fall, we have a terrific opportunity in the Libby and Troy area to attract people who have never been to this area, as well as our regulars who know us well and will also be present.  These environmental conditions mean we will have few competing events so “we may be the only game in town.”

We will all need to put forth our best efforts to help support these events. We also need to give our special thanks and encouragement to the many volunteers in our community that have done an excellent job working long hours putting together these exciting and entertaining events that will positively help our current and future economy.
