As of December 31, gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 8.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.41 per gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices were 14.9 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago, and are 36.2 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
The national average price has dropped 21.3 cents per gallon in the last month and stands 23.8 cents per gallon higher than last year.
