As of August 12, gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 1 cent in the past week, averaging $2.79 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices are 0.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and are 16.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The national average has fallen 6.8 cents per gallon during the last week and stands 21.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
