If you’re working around your home using electrical lawn and garden equipment, remember the basic rules of electricity. Make sure extension cords are approved for outdoor use and never use electric power tools around water. If you’re using a ladder, try to avoid using a metal one, but if you must, make sure you or the ladder don’t come in contact with an overhead power line.
