Are you in need of home repairs?

Submitted by Susie Rice
Kootenai Valley Partner Habitat for Hu-manity is now accept-ing applications for this summer’s work pro-jects. Since the affiliate only builds in odd num-bered years, they set aside the even num-bered years to help with a home repair pro-gram.
If you own your own home (don’t rent), are on a restricted income and have home repair work that you cannot physically or financially complete, you may qualify.
Habitat for Humani-ty will use volunteer labor and only charge you for the materials unless a contractor is needed.
For more infor-mation, pick up an ap-plication at the Lincoln County Library, at the Senior Citizen’s Center, or at the Food Pantry in either Libby or Troy. Applications will also be available online at www.kvphabitat.org. The applications will be available beginning Feb. 1. The deadline to apply is March, 1.
