The grand opening of The Farmers Market at Libby is scheduled for May 9th , 3:00 to 7:00 pm on the grassy lawn of the Libby Area Chamber located on HWY 2, Libby, MT. The weekly event, scheduled every Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, is a collaboration of Chamber and community members, local growers and vendors who share a desire to establish a lively market supplying local access to healthy food. The Libby Chamber believes this event is a natural progression of recent strategies focusing on a brighter sense of place – an appealing place to live, a dynamic place for business and enticing destinations for visitors – yielding an economic and cultural boom to the town. The Libby Chamber will be adding market vibes with entertainment and special features throughout the season. Libby Bucks and the SNAP program will be accepted.
The Libby Chamber of Commerce will be hosting their monthly after hours networking event, Business and Banter, during the market on May 16th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Join us at this special Market for food, fun, shopping, networking, and lots of information on the Chamber and its current efforts. The Chamber will be partnering with Cabinet Mountain Brewing, in celebration of American Craft Beer Week and in support of our local brewery, to feature some of our favorite local brews.
