Back Adit played during Main Street Perk’s second Music on the Lawn event this summer.
On Thursday, July 26 MSP’s lawn was filled with families eating pizza and enjoying live music in the warm weather.
Main Street Perk, located at 509 E. Missoula Avenue in Troy celebrated nine years of business in February of this year. They started as a coffee shop and added lunches and ice cream later. Recently, they expanded their menu to include beer, wine and pizza, and they extended business hours later into the day. Back Adit played starting at 7 p.m. offering a mixture of jazz, blues, folk and oldies to enjoy while locals danced and enjoyed the summer weather under MSP’s shade trees.
Back Adit is a five person, Libby based band that has released three albums over their 13 years together. Members include Dave Williamson, Sue Feeback, Wayne Rau, Gary Lawrence, and Dagan Williamson.
The event was well attended.
Main Street Perk now offers eleven kinds of personal pizzas, a wide variety of beer and wine, an expansive coffee menu, ice cream, and breakfast and lunch items. They are now open on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., on Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m., and on Sundays from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.
