Rotary to host Missoula Children’s Theatre’s Snow White in Libby

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs on Monday, March 19 from 3:30 until 5:30 p.m. at the Memorial Center. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:30 and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the roles to be cast are Snow White, her friends Phineas, Foxy and Fernando, Queen, seven Dwarfs, the Forest animals, Black Forest Creatures, a Magic Mirror, Bats, Henchmen and the King. Students ages kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary, assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week, and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week after school.
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs will be presented on Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at the Memorial Center. The Friday performance will be held at 7 p.m. and the Saturday performance will be held at 2 p.m. The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Libby is brought to you by the Rotary Club of Kootenai Valley with support from Graduation Matters, The Washington Foundation, and the Halfway House.
