Despite at least four students having to drop out because of the flu, last weekend’s performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a success. Two shows were held at the Memorial Center last Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
The show was a production of the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and was put together in under one week.
“The unique MCT program is great. It provides a fun and unique opportunity for Libby kids to participate in theatre,” said Rotary representative, Gary Huntsberger.
The Rotary Club of Kootenai Valley sponsored the event with financial support from Libby’s Parks District, County Commissioners, Graduation Matters, The Pitiful Players, and the Halfway House.
“We plan to bring MCT back next year too,” said Huntsberger. “We really appreciate all of the community support financially, with volunteers, and from parents who supported their kids’ participation in the program.”
