Troy Ministerial Alliance offers Bible classes for Troy students

The Troy Ministerial Alliance (TMA) and other Troy area Pastors are pleased to announce a new Bible Class in the fall of 2019  for the students of Troy High School and Home Schoolers. Students will have the opportunity to attend these classes during their school day.

At this time their will be no credit offered for the classes, and high school students and home schoolers will require permission from their parent or guardian to attend.

The Bible classes will be held at the Door of Hope Church located at 217 Mineral Ave. in Troy. This location will provide easy access for students, only one block from Troy High School, while also being off-campus so the religious instruction does not take place on government property. The School District will incur no costs associated with this program.

TMA said, “We believe this Release Time Program will serve as a great support to our schools; and by teaching Biblical values, the School’s Mission Statement is reflected and enhanced. We desire the students’ learning to positively impact their families, the school, and the society in which we live.”

A public meeting about the classes will be held on March 19 at 6 p.m. at the Door of Hope Church.

TMA encourages any parent or students with questions to attend the meeting or contact Pastor Terry Meroney at 295-4758 or email
