Thursday, Nov. 16
10:33 a.m. An elderly woman almost drove into a building so she was reported to the police for safety reasons.
2:44 p.m. A local doctor’s office called to report someone leaving their office intoxicated and driving. Officers were unable to located the drunk driver.
4:12 p.m. A woman on Hwy. 2 reported a dead deer in her flower bed. It wasn’t a bad idea for a final resting place from the deer’s perspective but the gardener though differently.
Friday, Nov. 17
10:31 a.m. A neighbor requested a welfare check on a child whose mother had been yelling for 10 minutes. The child was outside but his/her welfare wasn’t apparent. The neighbor was probably not a parent.
2:52 p.m. Two dogs were chasing deer so someone on Spencer Rd. called 911. Dispatch wasn’t very fawned of 911 being called and referred to Fish and Game.
6:27 p.m. Another garden variety call was received from a man on Pheasant Run who also had a deer in his garden. This one had a possible broken neck.
7:53 p.m. Someone was laying in the gutter and sidewalk outside of a Libby business. They were up and moving when officers arrived.
