Eleanor Lindsay, 84, of Libby

Eleanor Lindsay, 84, died peacefully at home of natural causes on April 3. Eleanor was born in a small town of Harlem, M. ont. She moved to Libby,  around 1957 where she met and married Donald Hutton. They bought a ranch on Pipe Creek Road around 1962 and raised seven children while managing all the responsibilities of a productive ranch. Eleanor bought and owned La Casa de Amigos around 1992 until 2003, at which time she retired. Eleanor enjoyed country life to the fullest.

Eleanor is survived by six children, George Hutton, Libby; Donna (Dave) Parrish, Libby; Raymond (Lolita) Hutton, Chula Vista, Calif.; Cindy AuClaire, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Bruce (Catherine) Hutton, Harrah, Wash.; Grace Rogers, Libby; four siblings, Lawrence Lindsay, Doris Brown, Wesley Lindsay, Candace Lucas, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hutton; daughter, Bette Hill; five siblings, Sharon Lindsay, Steven Lindsay, Betty Plummer, Evelyn McDonald, Patsy Evans, two grandsons, Anthony Hutton, and Raymond Hutton.

A potluck to celebrate Eleanor’s life will be held on Saturday, June 27, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., at 6290 Pipe Creek Road, Libby, Mont. Please feel free to share memories with family and friends.

Births

William Alexander Troyer 

William Alexander Troyer was born at home unassisted on April 15 at 1:50 p.m. He weighed six pounds six ounces, and was 21 inches long. His parents are David and Anna Troyer.

 

Rosalie Ann Whalen

Rosalie Ann Whalen was born at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Mont. on June 8 at 6:30 p.m. She weighed seven pounds 11 ounces and was 19 inches long at the time of her birth. Her parents are Tim and Liz Whalen. She was delivered by Dr. Kelli Jarett.
