James Arnold, 61 of Libby

Michael James Arnold, 61, passed away on March 13, 2018 in Libby, Mont. from natural causes. He was born on April 18, 1956, resided in Armona, Calif., and later moved to Hanford, Calif. His passion was selling cars, which he did for more than two decades. Mike was very successful and made many life-long friends during this time. At the age of 25, Mike married Beki Smith (Arnold) and proceeded to have two children.
For the past 11 years, he resided in Libby, Mont. He continued to work and build relationships with members of the community. Mike was known for always giving a lending hand to anyone in need. He had many friends and relationships that will stand as his legacy.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Shirley Mae Ransdell and Neil Ransdell.
Survivors include his two children, Andrew Neil Arnold (Cristen Gonzales) and Michelle Taylor Lara (Arnold); grandchildren, Bailey and Ezra Cox, Daxon Neil Arnold and Frankii Michelle Arnold, Zachary Connor Lemus and Maya Elizabeth Lara; brothers, David Arnold (Beth) and Derick Ransdell (Bobbi); nieces and nephew, Ashley Larsen (Arnold), Bradley Arnold, and Hannah Mae Ransdell; his Aunt Suzi and Uncle Buddy Owens; two cousins, Beth Owens and Sandy Owens-Gifford; his best friend and furry companion Molly Arnold.
A celebration of life service and potluck will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at The Mint in Libby.
