Angels abide here in our town

We always hear or read about bad things that happen in our community, but I have “good news.” There are many good people here in Libby, Mont.
This past month of Feb. has been very snowy. I have had several people come by and help shovel my driveway of all the snow. One young lady stopped by when she saw me shoveling and offered to shovel. She came back four more times in Feb., twice bringing her husband. Her husband came back one evening with his church’s youth group and they all shoveled.
Then this week when the snow plow came by, a big berm at the end of the driveway was left. I went out to try to shovel, but it was too hard for me. Two ladies and a man from my neighborhood all came to shovel the snow. I can’t begin to tell you how thankful I am for all these “angels.” God is so good!
Also while I’m on the subject of “thankfulness,” I cannot believe how many people in Libby come to the Libby Care Center to volunteer. Some bring greeting cards, other make place cards for dinner trays, some bring flowers for birthdays, singers come from schools, churches and organizations around town. There are musicians who come every week to entertain the residents. The “Pitiful Players” always come to present their plays and the Community Center Entertainers come also to share their musical talent from time to time.
Many churches from Libby and Troy have services on a regular basis. There are many more volunteers, the list goes on and on. For that I am grateful.
Thanks to all and my God bless.
