This letter is to convey my thanks to the Libby Chamber of Commerce, and everyone who partic-ipated in a most enjoya-ble evening held at the Memorial Center. I was very surprised and hon-ored to be the recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award.
Thank you all, the vol-unteers out there who give their time to local causes. Volunteering al-lows us to connect to our community and make it a better place. Children watch everything we do. By giving back to the community, we show them firsthand how vol-unteering makes a differ-ence and how good it feels to help other peo-ple . I’m grateful for the connections I’ve made and the lives I’ve touched through volunteerism. I encourage everyone to volunteer and feel the positive impact in our wee community.
