The second annual Lincoln County vs. Flathead County Car Show was held on Saturday, July 24.
In all, 147 cars registered for this year’s event—over 90 over those registered with “56” plates. When all was said and done, The Igniters Car Club of Libby was left in charge of the $770 purse to be awarded to
a charity of Lincoln County’s choice.
At the August 4 Igniters Car Club meeting, it was voted that the purse will be split between four worthy charities: St. Judes, WINGS Regional Cancer Support, American Legion Post #97 – towards the refurbishing
of the WWI Veterans cemetery angel, and Lincoln
County Crisis Solutions.
“We want to thank everyone who came out with their cars and those that came to look,” shared
Happy’s Inn organizers following the day of good
music, good food, good company, high spirits, burnouts and beautiful cars.
