Tuesday, June 18
11:40 a.m. A caller described to police a threat he received via carved message on his back porch. It did not appear that a chainsaw was used so it was not in preparation for the upcoming competition so officers could only assume that the guilty party did not want their handwriting recognized.
3:10 p.m. A young male called to report his mother “breaking and entering” into his room in the home that she owns. He was encouraged to pay rent for added privacy.
Wednesday, June 19
1:07 a.m. A frantic caller told dispatch, “no one will do anything about the bears out there!” Out of bear necessity, officers responded to the scene.
1:07 p.m. A caller went out on a limb reporting several branches that had fallen into the roadway from a tree. He wanted officers to branch out and spruce things up.
Thursday, June 20
2:16 a.m. Someone reported children in a nearby field “hooting and hollering” while waving flashlights about, they just wanted the kids to see the light.
10:00 a.m. A woman drove past another woman’s home “real slow like” and honked at her.
10:39 p.m. A caller reported his pig missing. He clarified with dispatch that the hog, unfortunately, was not wearing a collar.

10:49 a.m. An angry woman called to report someone shooting dents into her mobile home and stealing from her car. She did not know what was missing.
