Friday, April 6

10:46 a.m. A foreign talking male repeatedly called a woman’s son claiming to be the IRS and threatening to send someone to arrest him.

11:47 a.m. Two Libby area horses were not being fed a caller said, but the owner disagreed and even the horses said neigh. It turns out the claim was just a bunch of hay.

2:40 p.m. A woman from the IRS called another Libby resident. She also threatened to put the caller in jail if cash for Walmart cards wasn’t supplied. No cash was supplied, the woman had lied.

7:53 p.m. A drunk and belligerent teenager was reported on Farm to Market, but officers on scene were unable to locate the teen.

Saturday, April 7

12:05 a.m. A person was skulking between trailers at Three Corners trailer court. He seemed a suspicious sort.

7:12 a.m. A woman on Hwy. 2 reported two drifters sitting by her fence. They drifted away before officers arrived.

Sunday, April 8

6:02 p.m. A woman reported hearing gunshots while she was outside earlier in the day. One of the shots may have hit her neighbor’s shop she said.

6:31 p.m. A man called concerned about how to dispose of a dead skunk he found in his yard. It made a lot of scents to call, it could have had rabies.

Monday, April 9

5:32 a.m. A woman called 911 from the Amtrak station advising dispatch that she had been there for a week and nobody would help her. The train arrives at around 4:30 a.m.

10:02 p.m. A woman on Main called to report that she keeps having a male come to her residence and his is creeping her out. He left in an unknown vehicle travelling in an unknown direction.

Tuesday, April 10

4:53 p.m. A Utah Ave. resident who was hopping mad complained about the neighbor’s rabbits running free and destroying vegetation.

Wednesday, April 11

8:10 a.m. A man reported that he went to the food pantry to shop and picked up apples, potatoes and pizza but he was refused milk.

11:43 a.m. Someone on Vicks Court was told they won Publisher’s Clearing House by a caller from Jamaica asking for money.

5:02 p.m. A physician’s office reported a painful situation. A patient was threatening staff because their provider would not refill pain medications.
