Montana Gas Price Update

As of August 19, gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 3.4 cent in the past week, averaging $2.75 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices are 5.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and are 18.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

The national average has fallen 3.5 cents per gallon during the last week and stands 22.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

Wednesday: Dry and hot. Lows in the lower 40s to lower 50s except upper 50s on slopes, ridge tops and around 5000 feet. Highs in the lower 80s to lower 90s with near 70 around 5000 feet.

Thursday: Dry and slightly cooler except for a slight chance of late day and nighttime showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 40s to mid 50s with mid 50s around 5000 feet. Highs in the 80s to near 90 with upper 60s around 5000 feet.

Friday: Dry and continued warm except for a slight chance of early morning showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the upper 40s to upper 50s with upper 50s around 5000 feet. Highs in the lower 80s to lower 90s with upper 60s around 5000 feet.

Saturday and Sunday: Dry. Lows in the lower 40s to lower 50s with mid 50s around 5000 feet. Highs in the lower 80s to lower 90s with near 70 around 5000 feet.
