As of April 1, gasoline prices in Montana have risen 4.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.51 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices are 21.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and are 5.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
The national average has increased 3.9 cents per gallon during the last week and stands 3.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
