As of May 6, gasoline prices in Montana have risen 2.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.86 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices are 28.0 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and are 14.3 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
The national average has risen 1.3 cents per gallon during the last week and stands 9.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
