Recipe of the Week

Ingredients:

3 eggs, slightly beaten

1 1/4 cup of milk

1 1/2 cup of butter, melted and slightly cooled plus a cube for topping

1/2 cup of honey

2 1/2 cup bisquick pancake mix

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

1 cup of corn meal

Directions:

  1. preheat oven to 350 degree
  2. in a large bowl, mix together eggs, milk and butter. Set aside.
  3. in another large bowl, mix together pancake mix, sugars and corn meal.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.
  5. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Testing the middle with a toothpick at 25 minutes.
  6. melt extra butter and add to honey. Mix well.
  7. using a fork, poke holes all over top of bread and add honey mixture to top.
