Ingredients:
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 cup of milk
1 1/2 cup of butter, melted and slightly cooled plus a cube for topping
1/2 cup of honey
2 1/2 cup bisquick pancake mix
1 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1 cup of corn meal
Directions:
- preheat oven to 350 degree
- in a large bowl, mix together eggs, milk and butter. Set aside.
- in another large bowl, mix together pancake mix, sugars and corn meal.
- Add dry ingredients to wet and mix well.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Testing the middle with a toothpick at 25 minutes.
- melt extra butter and add to honey. Mix well.
- using a fork, poke holes all over top of bread and add honey mixture to top.
