KVCS spelling bee winners

Kootenai Valley Christian School hosted the Association of Christian Schools’ International (ACSI), district spelling bee on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. Students from Spokane, Wash. and Sandpoint, Idaho traveled to Libby to participate. Staff from Valley Christian School, Summit Christian Academy, Southside Christian School, Sandpoint Christian School and Kootenai Valley Christian School officiated the ACSI spelling bee.

In the ACSI district spell-off for fifth through eighth grade contestants, Aaron Thomas from Kootenai Valley Christian School placed third. He thereby qualified to compete in the ACSI regional spelling bee which will be held in Battle Ground, Wash. later this month.
