Ceanna Diller Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser

A fundraiser to benefit scholarships in Troy raised over $6,500 on Saturday, May 28.

The scholarship fund was established to honor Ceanna Diller who graduated from Troy High School in 2017. Diller who won numerous scholarships herself, tragically passed away in a car accident in 2020.

Her family, friends, and other supporters gathered for the prime rib dinner on Saturday evening and many left the event with prizes too.

These included a porch heater, a hunting rifle, and a cooler as well as gift baskets and wall art donated by community supporters.

The $1000 scholarship was won by Leah Clay this year and last year there were two winners. It with this fundraiser,  the committee plans to award more than one scholarship next year.

Joan Mary Bailey

Steffen and Charity Bailey welcomed baby girl Joan Mary on May 5,  at their home.

She weighed 7 pounds 15 ounces and was 21 inches long at time of birth. 

Grandparents are, Debbie and Joe Bailey, and Ruth Parker.

She was welcomed by her siblings:  Lillian, Wallace, Iversen, and Azelie.
