12:12 a.m. Someone on Commerce Way reported a little red car driving through a parking lot, revving the engine, drifting and spinning tires. They left then came back for another spin again but it was not Mr. Finnegan.
3:46 p.m. Someone in Northwood called to request extra animal control patrol for dogs running around. Particularly bothersome, the caller said, are a grand pyrenees and a lab. It was a great (pyrenees) complaint.
5:24 p.m. A baby deer was caught on the island in the middle of the Kootenai River. It looked like a deer in the headlights and the caller was not fawned of the situation so reported it.
8:53 p.m. A woman on Vicks Lane reported a deer in her field with an arrow stuck in it. It turned out not to be life threatening but the deer definitely now has an arch-enemy.
Friday, Jan. 25
4:33 a.m. A man at Saverite South called 911 to report someone driving dangerously and making threatening hand gestures at him. He did not wish to file a complaint.
Saturday, Jan. 26
11:15 a.m. Someone shot at a business on Utah Ave’s windows with a bb gun during the night.
1:38 p.m. A male called 911 to report getting his finger stuck in a jack but called back to let officers know that he got it out.
Sunday, Jan. 27
2:10 p.m. Someone at Belview Trailer Court reported that a little boy was walking around the park without pants.
10:46 p.m. A woman on Farm to Market reported that someone was in her house as evidenced by a tote moved from under her bed as well as reports of a white crew cab in the driveway earlier.
