Sunday, July 16

 

2:59 a.m. Police were pursuing a small red Dodge pickup with a throaty exhaust, but it was going so fast that the pursuit was ended and subsequently all units were unable to locate the Dodge that successfully dodged the law.

 

6:20 p.m. A newer blue boat was chasing waterfowl on the lake at Canyon Creek. It was fun until the caller reported their trailer’s license plate number and then it became a party foul.

 

Tuesday, July 18

 

12:33 a.m. A woman at a Libby trailer park called to report locating and blocking in thieves. A verbal argument was heard in the background.

 

2:24 p.m. Debris was reported flying out of a vehicle on Hwy. 2 near Kootenai Disposal. The street looked like a dump litter-ally, except officers were unable to locate the trash. Maybe the caller was full of garbage?

 

5:11 p.m. A highly intoxicated pedestrian on the side of  highway 2 was transported home to sober up after blowing a .188.  The person’s was clearly under the influence and probably under the weather soon after.

 

6:35 p.m. A resident on Parmenter Creek requested extra patrols because motorists were not stopping at a stop sign.

 

Thursday, July 20

 

9:11 a.m. Someone on Mahoney Road called 911 to talk about skunks. The caller wanted to make a big stink but didn’t have a lot of scents, 911 is for emergencies.

 

9:41 p.m. A woman on White Ave. reported that her neighbor noticed someone in her boat.

 

11:05 p.m. A Pitbull on Park St.  Was reported for chasing and killing deer.

 

11:06 p.m. A girl reported her parents had not come home from dinner. They were soon located, and date night ended.

 

Saturday, July 22

 

5:13 p.m. Park hose called to advise that some kids broke a water spicket and now it is spraying all over.

 

Sunday, July 23

 

11:10 p.m. Someone called to report what sounded like four pistol shots coming from the area below his residence.

 

Monday, July 24

 

2:10 p.m. Reporting person found one of her screens were off on her residence.

 

Tuesday, July 25

 

5:12 a.m. Reporting person advised that the neighbor just drove through his fence and yard.

 

6:24 p.m. There is train blocking the railroad crossing at E 5th St extension for over an hour.

 

Wednesday, July 26

 

12:29 p.m. Someone stole their dog out of their front yard.
