Terry Crooks and “Taz” were on the mountain Friday to recertify for avalanche rescue. A big shout out and thankyou to all the folks with David Thompson Search and Rescue for all that you do for our community.

Annual Winter Ice Fishing
Derby, Feb. 18 & 19

Lower Thompson chain of lakes, February 18 and 19. weigh in times: Saturday 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday Feb.18 children’s drawing at 4 p.m., adult drawing at   5 p.m., after final weigh in.

Sunday Feb.19 final prize drawings begin at approximately 3 p.m. derby participants must be present to win drawing prizes. Prize money for each category awarded Sunday, after final weigh ins. Tickets sold at the event. Payouts this year with entry fee money divided equally for:  Pike, Salmon, Rainbow and Perch. (25% for each)

 

Rotary Wine Tasting Event, ‘For the Love of Wine’ Feb. 10

The Rotary Wine Tasting Event ‘ For the Love of Wine’ a fundraising event which will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023. Come enjoy a night of amazing food paired with the perfect wine. A night full of fun, complete with:

  • Silent Auctions
  • Live Auctions
  • Raffles and Much More!

Tickets will be available now. Price is $75/seat or become a sponsor for $1000 and get a reserved table (8 seats), Company/Logo display at the event, and company mentions during the Auctions! Tickets can be purchased at The  Montanian and the Venture Inn and Restaurant.

Libby Job Fair will be Wednesday Feb. 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Libby Memorial Events Center. Over 25 businesses will be there
