2:47 a.m. Someone on Hwy. 2 called 911 for a friend because her car alarm kept going off. Officers checked the area with night vision goggles and didn’t find anything suspicious.
11:11 a.m. Someone drove into an open man hole on Hwy. 2 and Larch.
12:31 p.m. A McGinnis Creek area resident called the Sheriff’s Office to request removal of a large dead moose in their creek. Fish and Game received the referral.
Friday, August 3
1:18 a.m. A man and six women were reported to police when the situation became developed at a gas station.
8:43 a.m. Someone on 5th Ave. reported the neighbors because their animals wee causing foul odors and insects.
10:16 p.m. Someone reported a man in his underwear at a building on Commerce Way but he was just running in shorts and a t-shirt.
10:22 p.m. Someone on Piney Road reported their neighbor for yelling endlessly to his or herself.
Saturday, August 4
9:59 a.m. Someone showed up in person to report to officers that an ex showed up at their residence with an axe.
11:41 a.m. Someone fueling up their vehicle reported to officers that two small dogs had jumped into the truck.
2:19 p.m. Two people reported a red canoe with black stripes floating down the river unmanned. The canoe had been on the shore and was washed into the river, no one needed to be rescued.
11:50 p.m. Someone on Timer Lane reported that he was missing a jar of change from his house.
