As of Jan. 28, gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 2.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.25 a gallon according to GasBuddy.com. Prices were 34.3 cents per gallon lower than a year ago and are 17 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
The national average has dropped 2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 31.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
