James Leroy Regh, 84, of Libby

James Leroy Regh, 84, of Libby, Montana, passed away peacefully at home with family members, on August 24, after a lengthy battle with heart disease.  He was born on March 4, 1938 in St. Louis, MO. He joined the Air Force in April 1955, serving as a Radar Operator until 1959 when he was honorably released from active duty. Jim served in Guam and at the Yaak Air Force base. He finished his Air Force duty stationed in the Yaak. This was his introduction to Northwest Montana and the love of his life, Irene. Jim and Irene wed in 1958, going on to have five children, Cynthia Faith, James Jr., Jonathan, Jeffrey and Jerry.

Jim was a local contractor for over 30 years, building many residential and commercial projects in Libby and the surrounding area.

After retiring in 2003, Jim spent much of his time with family and friends, advising and volunteering his time and resources to help build multiple projects for family, local organizations, and charities.

Jim is survived by his wife of 64 years Irene, his children – Cynthia Faith Gilbert (Mike), James Regh, Jr. (Patti), Jon Regh (Robin), Jeff Regh (Anne), Jerry Regh, 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Jim’s family will hold a private remembrance and memorial.

Robert E. Wenholz, 86, of Libby

Robert E. Wenholz, 86, died on Monday, August 29, at Libby Care Center.  He was born in Forsyth Mont. on Nov. 17, 1935 to Clinton and Florence Wenholz.  He enlisted into the US Navy after high school.

Robert moved to Libby, Mont. in the late 60’s to begin working on Libby Dam. He worked construction until he retired.

Survivors include his children, Ward Wenholz, Debra Kendall, Dennis Wenholz; and a sister Ruth West.

Graveside services will be held at the City of Libby Cemetery at 10 a.m., on Friday, September 2.  Arrangements are by Schnackenberg Funeral Home in Libby.  Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.schnackenbergfh.com.

Riot Doyle

Jonathon Doyle and Ariana Schnoberger welcomed baby boy Riot Doyle on August 15, 2022 @ 4:24 pm. weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces and was 19 ¾ inches long.

He was delivered by Dr. Taylor Williams at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Mont.

Lucas Allen-Bear Rigg

James Rigg and Alicia Long welcomed  baby boy, Lucas Allen-Bear Rigg on August 16, 2022 at 10:01 p.m. Lucas weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long.

He was delivered by Dr. Kelli Jarrett at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, Mont.
