LVA purchases new equipment

Libby Volunteer Ambulance spent $44,000 for two Stryker power loads. These loads were installed into two ambulances. This equipment was purchased to reduce burdensome lifting for volunteers which will help to extend service years of LVA’s aging volunteers.
“None of us are getting any younger” said Libyy Volunteer Ambulance’s Vince Brown. With this new equipment Libby ambulance members will no longer have to lift and hold as much while loading and unloading patients. Although the new equipment was a large purchase for Volunteer Ambulance, they feel that the investment was necessary for the safety and wellbeing of volunteers.
